| when it comes to designing concert posters, i would classify my work as modern quasi-surrealism, meaning
what i wish would happen. i wish robots existed and were an emotional wreck as much as we are, that planes were not used for transportation but were more like mechanical birds that were the prey of giant squid, and if noah didn't forget about plants and vegetables when he built and populated his ark. i wish events like this would happen on a regular basis if just to make life a little more exciting and to serve as a reminder that life doesn't need to be so serious. i may be the only one that truly understands the original thought or idea behind each piece but if the viewer gets something out of looking at my work, even if its just humor, then i feel i have succeeded. as for web design i try to keep the layout simple and the navigation easy to use, if the site i am designing is a portfolio site i like the work to play a big part in the site design. if the site has a lot of info i like to layout the text in a way that is visually pleasing while still being affective. |
